New Books

I received a shipment of books yesterday form Romania. The selections were varied and there were several surprises...mainly that of Sabina's gorgeous book made of cloth. Unfortunately, it came to me already finished, but I will see if I can add a few pages. Also of interest is the altered book that was contributed by Jesseca in Boston. It's a really old book of saints, which, from what I can gather in the beginning pages, is written in Hungarian and was published in 1897. It's been years since I worked on an altered book and I must say I really enjoyed myself!  Anything religious is food for this artist anyway and I managed to come up with a few quirky images. I hope you all enjoy this book as much as I have! 

The Return

To all the girls in the Exchange...thank you for carrying on in my absence!  It is of great com fort to know that the idea of the CUltural Book Exchange will carry on no matter what the circumstance. I am back in full capacity and am ready to post a new book to Naomi in Amsterdam.  Here are a few of my latest pieces.

My book is ready!

I am almost Ready...

In 2 weeks I am moving to my new site here in Ukraine and I will have a permanent address...this means I can get back into the exchange!  I also heard from Kavita in India...she is ready to start work again so as soon as I am settle I will reconfigure our circle and we will again be a full compliment of artists!  I have really missed the books.

This is the book I've sent to Manette. It's a double fold out with styrofoam covers- light,neutral- options for extensions as well as filling up(or not).
